C\u2019est un mouvement, un geste\u00a0: celui que Cl\u00e9o n\u2019a pas esquiss\u00e9 quand elle aurait d\u00fb le faire.<\/p>\n<p>Cl\u00e9o <i>est<\/i> le corps du texte, un corps v\u00eatu de paillettes qui refl\u00e8tent la lumi\u00e8re mais s\u2019incrustent dans la chair\u00a0: celui d\u2019une danseuse anonyme au sourire contractuel et faux cils obligatoires, qui, sur les plateaux de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision des ann\u00e9es 90, s\u2019emploie \u00e0 divertir un public populaire. A faire oublier \u00e0 d\u00e9faut d\u2019oublier. La vie de Cl\u00e9o est l\u2019\u00e9toffe du r\u00e9cit, un tissage de silences comme autant de fils fondus en un liss\u00e9 satin\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Chavirer est le roman de nos coulisses, de ce qui se joue dans notre part d\u2019ombre, tandis qu\u2019on pr\u00e9tend \u00eatre indemne. A force de temps, la chair \u00e9corch\u00e9e se reconstitue mais l\u2019\u00e9charde affleure. Cl\u00e9o se cogne \u00e0 l\u2019impossibilit\u00e9 de se pardonner comme \u00e0 celle d\u2019\u00eatre pardonn\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>En d\u00e9cembre 2018, je lis ce vers de Musset\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0\u00e0 d\u00e9faut de pardon laisse venir l\u2019oubli\u00a0\u00bb. Les mots de Musset posent la cartographie de la narration, ils ricochent sur chacun des chapitres, des vies de ceux et celles qui racontent Cl\u00e9o. Cl\u00e9o-l\u2019obscure \u00e9claire, elle refl\u00e8te les l\u00e2chet\u00e9s minuscules, les n\u00e9gligences de chacun d\u2019entre eux.<\/p>\n<p>Ce n\u2019est pas ce \u00e0 quoi on nous oblige qui nous ab\u00eeme, c\u2019est ce \u00e0 quoi nous consentons qui nous \u00e9br\u00e8che, d\u2019avoir dit oui parce qu\u2019on ne savait pas dire non. A l\u2019origine de l\u2019\u00e9criture de Chavirer, il y a ce pacte\u00a0: extraire le singulier du pluriel des silences.
